LDBlockShow is a visualization tool based on VCF files that can quickly and efficiently generate linkage disequilibrium (LD) heatmaps. It is more time- and memory-efficient than similar tools and can simultaneously generate LD heatmaps as well as related statistics or annotation results, and supports subgroup analysis. LDBlockShow can visually display the LD patterns and haplotype block structures of genomic regions, and is an important visualization tool for fine mapping GWAS signals and screening candidate genes. The new version of this tool has been continuously updated and maintained in the hewm2008/LDBlockShow repository.
