1. Overview
    Currently, the Yunnan Key Laboratory of Biological Big Data has constructed multiple general-purpose databases, including:

    f. In addition, the following specialized databases have been established:

    The Navigation Database for the Multi-Omics Database Center of the Yunnan Key Laboratory of Biological Big Data. Currently, there are 14 databases in total. All these databases are deployed on two servers of the Yunnan Key Laboratory of Biological Big Data Center at 202.203.179.160 and 202.203.179.161. To date, the cumulative visits have reached 1.3 million, with users from 685 countries and regions. The projects have been published in multiple important international journals, including Molecular Plant, Plant Biotechnology Journal, Plant Communications, Frontiers in Plant Science, and Database. The projects have obtained 6 software copyrights.

    2.1 Chicken2K Chicken Database (Unpublished)
    The Chicken Database contains 188 breeds, totaling 1,984 whole-genome resequencing datasets and population information from different regions worldwide, compiling more than 80 million variant information entries and genetic maps. It also includes literature retrieval data and multiple online analysis tools. Currently, the related paper is under submission. The total data volume is approximately 30 TB, forming the largest genetic dataset in the poultry field to date. It clearly outlines the domestication history of chickens and has mined a large number of genes related to chicken domestication. All these data are compiled in the Chicken Genome Database of the Yunnan Key Laboratory of Biological Big Data (http://chicken.ynau.edu.cn/index/home/index). This database has been opened to peer experts and has received enthusiastic praise, representing an important data contribution and resource for poultry breeding in China.
    2.2 TeaBase Tea Database (Plant Communications)
    The Tea Database contains 8 genome assembly datasets, 700 global resequencing datasets, 400 transcriptome datasets, 1,500 Yunnan tea datasets, 1 pan-genome, and 400 metagenome datasets, along with 3 genetic maps. It also integrates literature retrieval data and rich online analysis and visualization tools, jointly constructing a powerful backend database. The total data volume is approximately 100 TB.
    2.3 VitisGDB Grape Database (Molecular Plant)
    The laboratory constructed the first Vitis plant genomics website, VitisGDB (http://vitisgdb.ynau.edu.cn/). The database includes 22 genome assembly results from 7 Vitis species, processed 1,641 resequencing datasets and corresponding phenotypic information, and predicted and identified 93.95 million single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) sites and 97,000 gene collinearity relationships. By integrating multiple visualization components and online genome comparison tools, this database organically integrates different types of data, providing users with friendly data retrieval, download, and online analysis services. The database has received high praise in international peer review and is considered one of the most comprehensive and user-friendly databases in the field of grape genetic resources. The total data volume is approximately 200 TB.
    2.4 HMOD Medicinal Plant Database 1 (Molecular Plant)
    The Herbal Medicine Omics Database (http://herbalplant.ynau.edu.cn/) integrates 23 medicinal plant genome datasets, 172 medicinal plant transcriptome datasets, 55 medicinal plant metabolome datasets, and 18 metabolic pathway information entries.
    2.5 MPOD Medicinal Plant Database 2 (Plant Biotechnology Journal)
    The Medical and Edible Plant Database (MEPD) (http://212.64.51.94:8023/) includes genomic information for 140 medical and edible plant species, more than 200 transcriptome datasets, and information on over 500 compounds. It also integrates literature retrieval data and rich online analysis and visualization tools, jointly constructing a powerful backend database. It is currently the most comprehensive and largest medical and edible plant database. The total data volume is approximately 30 TB.
    2.6 PanaxGDB Panax Database (Frontiers in Plant Science)
    The Panax Database includes 4 reference genomes, 750 saponin chemical formulas and protein structural formulas, 330 transcriptome datasets, and 260 resequencing datasets. It also integrates literature retrieval data and rich online analysis and visualization tools, jointly constructing a powerful backend database. The total data volume is approximately 10 TB.

    The Helmeted Guineafowl Database contains 1 reference genome, 20 transcriptome datasets, and 200 resequencing datasets.     3.2 Muscovy Duck Database (Unpublished)
    The Muscovy Duck Database contains 1 reference genome, 10 transcriptome datasets, and 200 resequencing datasets. It also integrates literature retrieval data and rich online analysis and visualization tools, jointly constructing a powerful backend database. The total data volume is approximately 10 TB.

    The Erianthus Database contains 1 reference genome, 20 transcriptome datasets, and 252 resequencing datasets. It also integrates literature retrieval data and rich online analysis and visualization tools, jointly constructing a powerful backend database. The total data volume is approximately 10 TB.
    3.4 Hainan Large-Leaf Tea Database
    The Hainan Large-Leaf Tea Database primarily focuses on germplasm resources, biological multi-omics, and industrial big data, integrating rich tea germplasm resource information, genomic and transcriptomic data. It also integrates literature retrieval data and rich online analysis and visualization tools. This database not only provides convenient tools for researchers to analyze and mine data but also supports the integration and analysis of industrial data, promoting scientific research and industrial development of Hainan large-leaf tea.
    3.5 Laboratory Animal Genome Editing Database (Unpublished)
    The Laboratory Animal Genome Editing Database contains 10 reference genomes, 200 transcriptome datasets, and 1,000 resequencing datasets. It also integrates literature retrieval data and rich online analysis and visualization tools, jointly constructing a powerful backend database. The total data volume is approximately 10 TB.
    3.6 Polyphenol Biosynthesis Pathway and Key Enzyme Database (Unpublished)
    The Polyphenol Biosynthesis Pathway and Key Enzyme Database contains 100 polyphenol biosynthesis pathways, gene data for 65 key enzymes, and distribution information in 265 representative species genomes. It also integrates literature retrieval data and rich online analysis and visualization tools, jointly constructing a powerful backend database. The total data volume is approximately 1 TB.

    4.1 China Pu-erh Tea Big Data Center and Other Commercial Databases
    In 2019, the Yunnan Key Laboratory of Biological Big Data, in collaboration with the Guandu District Government, the Yunnan Provincial Forestry Department, and Inspur Group, established the "China Pu-erh Tea Big Data Center" (http://39.129.96.75:19401/), integrating production data and consumption data. Ancient tea tree resources were pinpointed through point-to-point positioning. To date, it has collected information on more than 3,000 ancient tea trees and ancient tea gardens, 2,400 brand and production information entries, and 280,000 Pu-erh tea products, forming a data center for Pu-erh tea production and consumption.

    The Navigation Database for the Multi-Omics Database Center of the Yunnan Key Laboratory of Biological Big Data provides access portals and navigation services for all databases.
